Service Connection Pressure Test
Overview
To detect even the smallest leaks in small diameter connections, our new Service Connection testing method is the ideal solution. It is used for connections running from a water main to residential or commercial properties, measuring approximately 25mm to 32mm in diameter.
With the use of a specialised pump, a vacuum is created to aid the removal of air during the test, allowing for the identification of even very minor leaks.
This new testing method has been developed in line with the UK water industry’s updated regulations and provides logarithmically calculated pass or fail criteria where previously only a visual inspection was required. At AHS we’ve created this innovative new testing method to ensure the quality of service connections and provide our clients with comprehensive evidence of their compliance to the latest standards.
