Pressure testing helps identify faults, leaks, and other defects before they become expensive, time-consuming issues later in the project or once the asset is in service. During a test, a defined section of pipework is subjected to water pressure above its normal operating level for a set period. Integrity is then confirmed by monitoring key test conditions including pressure, air content, flow volume, and temperature.

To deliver safe and accurate pressure tests, our specialist equipment is designed, built, and maintained by AHS engineers, ensuring dependable performance and high safety standards on site. Every test carried out using AHS equipment is also overseen by our in-house Pressure Testing Analysts, who monitor performance in real time, verify results against WIS 4-01-03 standards, and issue digital certification through our PIPE dashboard. If your team already has the skills and experience to correctly prepare the pipeline for hydrostatic pressure testing, Direct Hire offers the most cost-effective and flexible way to achieve WIS 4-01-03 compliance.

At AHS we provide all the equipment you need to carry out a safe, compliant test. Each hire kit system is tested and validated by our in-house engineers to ensure accuracy and reliability on site.

Once your equipment has arrived on site, simply prepare the pipeline for testing and contact our team when you’re ready to test. One of our Pressure Testing Analysts will connect with you, monitor performance in real time, and guide you through each stage of the process.

Our analysts are available by phone or video call to provide setup support, answer questions, and help resolve any issues during testing. Once complete, your test data is reviewed and certified through the PIPE dashboard, giving you instant access to your results and documentation.

Approved Contractor Network

If you’d prefer a specialist to manage the on site setup and delivery, AHS will coordinate your test through our Approved Contractor Network (ACN).

Our ACN partners are trusted industry professionals who operate under AHS supervision. Each contractor is experienced in AHS procedures and uses AHS-approved pressure testing equipment that meets the same safety, and compliance standards.

We will review your enquiry and connect you with suitable contractors depending on your project requirements and location. The contractor will attend site to prepare the pipeline and perform the test, while our Pressure Testing Analysts will monitor the live data, and provide expert guidance throughout.

Once the test is complete, your data is reviewed and certified by AHS through the PIPE dashboard, giving you complete confidence that the results meet WIS 4-01 03.
