Overview
Our swabbing equipment is essential for removing residual air from pipelines prior to testing. AHS swabs are highly flexible and can traverse bends, 90-degree tees, and some mitre bends.
They can also pass through reduced pipelines up to a 50% reduction in diameter.
Our swab locators have been designed to track the passage of foam swabs through the pipeline by means of an audible signal. A transmitter is inserted into the swab and a handheld receiver is then used to pick up the signal. A digital counter shows the number of times the transmitter has been detected. Both the receiver and antenna are housed in an aluminium case and come with a built-in speaker or optional jack socket for the headset.
